Lube-Tech Announces Opening of New Milwaukee Facility

Golden Valley, MN – May 18, 2020 

Lube-Tech, a locally-owned company with roots going back to 1925, reports its new 111,725 square foot facility in Milwaukee is now open at 6600 North Industrial Road. Lube-Tech provides advanced energy, fluid technology, lubricants and services that help simplify operations, solve challenges, and accelerate performance for customers within the automotive, fleet, and manufacturing industries as well as well as some of the world’s largest OEMs. The industry-leading facility begins operations on May 18, 2020.

 

Expanded Wisconsin Presence

Since merging with Moore Oil in 2016, Lube-Tech has been a part of the Milwaukee and Wisconsin communities. Lube-Tech expanded its Wisconsin impact in the Fox Valley area, by beginning operations in a new Neenah, Wisconsin facility in October 2019. This new Milwaukee facility will allow Lube-Tech to scale quicker as their business grows and bring additional product and services to customers across Wisconsin. This warehouse replaces the previous location, which was on Custer Ave since 1945.

Innovative Technology

This new facility contains cutting-edge technology that simplifies operations, helps Lube-Tech teammates provide a higher level of service and enhances quality and environmental protection. At least nine delivery trucks per day will haul lubricants and other fluids from Milwaukee to various locations from northern Illinois to Madison to Fond du Lac. Loading and offloading is simplified through a high-capacity flow system, and a large indoor temperature-controlled truck bay provides comfort for drivers while allowing for multiple operations at once. Environmental protection and quality assurance features include dedicated pumps, lines and hoses for all tanks as well as overfill protection for tanks and spill containment along the rail spur

The facility was built with market expansion in mind and features:

• 50 Lube-Tech teammates
• An intermodal rail and docking system
• 21 bulk storage tanks that can hold 310,000 gallons
• 2 DEF storage tanks that can hold 40,000 gallons

 

Product Offerings

Lube-Tech is an authorized Mobil distributor in the upper Midwest and also offers their own lines of lubricants, chemicals, cleaners and detail products under the Lube-Tech Endurance and Real Clean brand names.  A network of more than 20 local sales representatives paired with Mobil’s field engineers are prepared to help customers grow their businesses now and into the future. 

This new facility allows Lube-Tech to improve upon or extend other product and service offerings such as:

• Laboratory and testing services
• Industrial services such as sump cleaning, filtration and vacuum dehydration
• A complete portfolio of recycling services
