Chris Bame - CEO/Chairman

With over 35 years of experience in the lubricants, fuels and chemicals industry, Chris Bame met his wife and partner Marna while working in Chris’s father’s business Gopher Oil Company 31 years ago.  Chris was educated in engineering at Texas A&M University and business at the University of MN Carlson School of Management.  Together, Chris and Marna have helped create organizations that manufacture lubricants, chemicals, fuels and process recyclables, as well as deliver those products and services around the globe.

The Lube-Tech companies’ employ over 500 people and families as well as a third generation of Bames.

Chris is involved and sits on the boards of several non-profit organizations supporting children with disabilities, at risk youth, the elderly, addiction recovery, many other community causes, Children’s Cancer research and international faith-based mission work.

Chris and Marna live in small town Minnesota on a lake.  They are surrounded by the families of their four children with twelve grandchildren and numerous Labrador retrievers.  The Bames are avid travelers, outdoor enthusiasts, enjoy boating, snowmobiling, motorcycling, hunting, fishing, and partying on the lake.   They believe in the values of “family first” and instill those values into everything they do.

Eric Jackson - President/COO

Eric Jackson - President/COO

Eric Jackson is an experienced executive with a background in public and private ownership environments including complete business operating responsibility, with demonstrable achievement in aggressive sales and profit growth.   Specialty expertise in leading board of advisors, developing strategic direction and executing related business plans, building talented teams, integrating acquisitions, and implementing continuous innovation systems.

Jackson has been with Lubrication Technologies, Inc. since 2004 and currently holds the role of  President/COO of Lubrication Technologies.  Prior to Lube-Tech, Eric held positions as President of the ConAgra Foods Phoenix Packaging Division, Staff Auditor at Ernst & Young, and Owner of Jackson’s Super Valu.  

Currently, he is serving on boards for Lubrication Technologies and E.A. Sween, and was a founding member of Social Venture Partners (SVP).

In 1988, Eric received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business-Accounting, English, Computer from Concordia College.

Eric and his wife Kim have been married for 30 years and live in Excelsior.  They have two adult children, Rachel and Matt.   In his time outside Lube-Tech, he enjoys playing pickleball, golfing, skiing, boating and hanging out with friends and family.

David Boyer – Director of Corporate Channel Development

David Boyer – Director Corporate Channel Development

David Boyer joined the family-owned business, Boyer Petroleum in 1990.   He held several management positions over the years and most recently was President.   Boyer Petroleum is celebrating 80 years of being family-owned and providing quality products and quintessential service to customers throughout Iowa. 

In June 2016, Boyer Petroleum, Moore Oil Company and Lubrication Technologies Inc. merged to form one company, Lube-Tech & Partners, LLC.  David is currently Director of Corporate Channel Development for Lube-Tech & Partners, LLC. and serves on the board of directors.

In 1990, David received a BA of Business Administration from University of Northern Iowa.

Brenda Donato – CFO & Treasurer of Lube-Tech and General Manager of Reliable Plus

Brenda Donato – CFO & Treasurer of Lube-Tech and General Manager of Reliable Plus

Brenda is responsible for general oversight of the enterprise finances, along with leading our Vehicle Wash Solutions Division (Reliable Plus).

Brenda has over 20 years’ experience in finance, including more than 10 years with Lube-Tech.  Prior to her current role(s), Brenda held various other leadership roles at Lube-Tech. During her time with Lube-Tech, she has been integral in the success of numerous acquisitions while continuing to support the business, build strong teams and drive change.

Brenda is a member of Lube-Tech’s Senior Leadership Team, Lube-Tech’s Board and is Lube-Tech’s first female officer.

Brenda has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Bethel University and is a member of Vistage International Organization.

Andrew Haag – EVP of Business Development

Andrew Haag – EVP of Business Development

Andrew Haag formerly served as President of Moore Oil Company out of Milwaukee, WI. In June 2016, Moore Oil Company merged with Boyer Petroleum and Lubrication Technologies Inc. to form one company, Lube-Tech & Partners, LLC.  Andrew is currently serving as the Director of the Automotive Division, as well as leading M/A Activities for Lube-Tech.  Andrew also serves on the board of Lube Tech. 

Prior to Moore Oil Company, Andrew was at Exxon Mobil from 2001 – 2003.

In 2000, received a Bachelor of Business Administration, Sales, Distribution and Marketing, Operations and General from Western Michigan University – Haworth College of Business.    Andrew received an EMBA at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee – School of Business Administration in 2006.

Currently serving on two non-profit boards; Froedtert Hospital Foundation and Best Buddies of Wisconsin.  From 2007-2009 served on the Emerging Leaders Board for United Way.

Katie Hines – VP of Marketing

Katie Hines - VP of Marketing

Katie joined Lube-Tech in 2017 as the Director of Channel Marketing for the Custom Branded Solutions division. She joined the leadership team in 2018 after taking on an expanded role, and now leads the enterprise marketing function as Lube-Tech’s Vice President of Marketing, supporting all of Lube-Tech’s internal branding and communications efforts, divisional marketing, and all external and partner marketing.

Prior to Lube-Tech, she spent 12 years at G&K Services in a variety of marketing and general management roles with her last role being the General Manager of G&K’s $40M US direct sale division.

She earned a double degree in Marketing and Financial Management in 2005 from the University of St. Thomas and completed her MBA in 2011 at the Carlson School of Management.

She loves working at Lube-Tech because of how much they care for their people and because it’s somewhere she is truly making a long-lasting difference in the lives of her teammates, community and with our partners.

In her free time, she enjoys being outside, boating and trips to her cabin with her husband Kenny and son Dylan.

Dave Morris – Chief Information Officer

Dave Morris – Chief Information Officer

Dave Morris is the Chief Information Officer for Lube-Tech, LLC, a position he has held since joining the company in September 2012.  In his role, Dave provides technology vision and leadership in the development and implementation of business applications and infrastructure that support the companies long term goals enabling the generation of significant value through cost efficiencies, revenue growth acceleration, quality improvement, cyber security, and strategy execution.

Dave joined Lube-Tech following more than 30 years in leadership roles across a variety of industries and companies including Unisys, Boston Scientific, Michael Foods, CHS and Cephalon Pharmaceutical. In these roles, Dave led project teams implementing large-scale operational systems that realized substantial improvements in quality, delivery and cost. He also served as CIO for the Minnesota Department of Safety from 2008 to 2011 responsible for all aspects of enterprise-level IT planning, implementation, and support as an integral component of Public Safety’s overall strategic plan.  Public Safety includes Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, State Patrol, Driver & Vehicle Services, State Fire Marshall, Alcohol & Gambling, and Homeland Security. 

In 1982, Dave received a Bachelor of Science from St. Cloud State University with degrees in Business and Computer Science.

Dan Slade - GM of Distribution Solutions

Dan Slade - GM of Distribution Solutions

Dan grew up in Northern Wisconsin (Solon Springs) on a 40-acre hobby farm.  He went to the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.  In 1988, secured a route sales position with G&K Services where he spent the next 29 years.

Dan was promoted and relocated in the Midwest four times landing in St Cloud, MN as Sales Manager and ultimately General Manager in 1998.  In 2002, he led four Upper Midwest production companies as Group General Manager exceeding expectations in growth, profit, customer retention and employee satisfaction.  From 2002-2008, as the Group General Manager of Acquisition Integration, based in Eden Prairie, MN, Dan led and was responsible for all aspects of G&K’s Acquisition Region.  In addition to focusing on delivering the synergies modeled for each of the businesses, he successfully transformed 12 newly acquired businesses to G&K’s processes and culture.

Amid the great recession (2008-2013), the CEO, focused G&K Services to “right-size” the business and get back to basics.  During this five-year period, Dan effectively led US and Canadian Operations, Fleet, Engineering and M&A (emphasizing divestitures of underperforming segments and businesses).  In 2013, he was asked to be the Leader of M&A and Business Development.  In 2015, he was promoted to be the Leader of Strategic Business Initiatives developing game-changing strategies intended to take G&K’s operations to the next level. 

Prior to joining Lube-Tech, Dan was Vice President of Sales and Marketing with Healthcare Linen Services Group from 2017 – 2019.   He built the sales team, launched the company Website, Vision, Mission, and Core Values.

Dan currently lives in St Cloud, MN with his wife (Jill) of 33 years.  They have three wonderful children.    In his free time, he likes to hunt, fish, golf, run and hang out with family and friends.

Ryan St. Arnold - VP of Finance

Ryan St. Arnold - VP of Finance

Ryan St. Arnold joined Lube-Tech in 2016 as head of Financial Planning & Analysis where he brought forth a series of system and team developments to advance financial reporting, forecasting, and data analysis for the company. In 2018 his role expanded to include oversight of Treasury where he managed the capital structure through several acquisitions and lending agreements and drove improvements in capital allocation, cash management, and lending relationships.

 

Ryan currently serves as Vice President of Finance where he oversees FP&A, Treasury, Accounting, Credit & Billing, Accounts Payable, and Pricing functions. In his role, he provides financial leadership that supports Lube-Tech’s strategic vision through improved decision making, accuracy of historical and forward looking financial information, advanced analytics, and cash flow strategy execution.

 

Prior to Lube-Tech Ryan held an array of corporate finance leadership roles within Accounting, Financial Systems, Business Analytics, and Financial Planning and Analysis for publicly traded G&K Services and multinational car rental firm Hertz Corporation.

 

Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from St. Cloud State University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of North Dakota.

Shane Steffensen COO / GM Private Label

Shane Steffensen COO / GM Private Label

Shane Steffensen joined Lube-Tech in December 2015 as Chief Financial Officer.    During his first six months, he led the team through a merger of Boyer Petroleum, Lube-Tech’s Distribution Division and Moore Oil Company to form one company, Lube-Tech & Partners, LLC.  In 2018, Shane transitioned into his current role as COO and GM, leading Lube-Tech’s private label business.

He brings expertise in leading high performing teams with industry experience in manufacturing, business services, logistics and distribution.

Prior to joining Lube-Tech, Shane spent 17 years at G&K Services.   Throughout his tenure at G&K, Shane held several leadership roles within the Finance organization culminating with his final role as Senior Director, Integrated Risk Management.   G&K Services was the fourth largest work apparel and facility services company in the United States and the largest in Canada. The Company is publicly traded on the NASDAQ stock exchange with revenues of over $900 million with approximately 8,000 employees.

Steffensen has previously served on non-profit boards for The Arc Greater Twin Cities and Boy Scouts of America.

In 1994, he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Northern State University.

Eivind Stenersen – VP of Technology

Eivind Stenersen – VP of Technology

Eivind Stenersen serves as Lube-Tech's Vice President, Technology and member of the senior leadership team with the responsibility for enterprise research, product development, compliance, engineering and quality. 

Prior to joining Lube-Tech in 2015 Eivind held the position of Vice President, Engineering at PaR Robotics in Shoreview, MN.

Education/certifications includes an MBA from the Carlson School of Management, BS-ME and MS-ME degrees from the University of Minnesota, Professional Engineer (PE) license in Minnesota and Certified Lubrication Specialist (CLS) from the Society of Lubrication and Tribology Engineers.  Eivind is named inventor on 36 issued US patents.

Outside of Lube-Tech, Eivind serves on the Board of Governors for the School of Engineering at the University of St. Thomas and the Advisory Board for the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Minnesota.

Suzette Taylor – VP of People & Culture

Suzette Taylor – VP of People & Culture

Suzette Taylor is Lube-Tech’s VP of People & Culture. In this role, Suzette is helping to accelerate Lube-Tech’s performance through leadership, differentiated talent models, attracting and developing the best talent, and building a culture of safety, engagement, and high performance. In her 5 ½ years with Lube-Tech, Suzette has led several initiatives to further the One Lube-Tech culture by clarifying and reinforcing our promise to each other and implementing programs to ensure we live it every day.

Prior to her time at Lube-Tech, Suzette specialized in Talent Management leadership roles at Harley-Davidson, Inc., and ATK (Alliant Techsystems). She started her career at Hutchinson Technology, Inc. where she specialized in learning & development, and organizational development. Suzette received her undergraduate degree in Organizational Management & Communications through Concordia’s School of Adult Learning, St Paul and her Masters of Education degree in Organizational Performance & Change from Colorado State University.
