The Fox Cities Habitat’s Rock the Block engages homeowners, volunteers and community to improve resident engagement and enhance the quality of life in the neighborhood. This year’s Rock the Block in Menasha, WI was the largest to date, repairing and improving 100 homes. Check out the below video, produced by Red Shoes, Inc.
On September 18th, Lube-Tech joined the impact when a group of Lube-Tech and ExxonMobil employees came together to reinvigorate the community in Menasha, Wisconsin. The team was split up and distributed throughout the city at homes, schools and parks. Projects included repairing windows, home siding, landscaping, and park clean up. Here’s what Lube-Tech Automotive Sales Manager Dave Berlick said of giving back to the community:
“Our first big give back to the Fox Valley was represented well by over 30 Lube-Tech employees at the nation’s largest Rock the Block initiative. Teams spent time beautifying a park along the Fox River, adding a fresh look to the landscaping at an elementary school and working with local home owners to spruce up the outside of their homes. Rock the Block was truly an opportunity to ‘Make Tomorrow a Little Better Than Today’ for the residents of the Fox Valley.“
